My best friend and I are planning on moving to St. John after graduating college in summer '07. I have no idea what kind of jobs there are to get ther other than retail and waitressing to start off with.(i've done both, anyoneneed a nanny?) How are the schools there? we will both be certified teachers (history and art) and may want to do somethign like that. We basically just want to get back to the island and see what happens. It is highly possible, but fairly improbable. Just wanted to toss around some ideas with like minded people. anything you say can help.
thanks
gf

girlfriday: If you research this forum (google in key words, read moving reports, etc.) you'll find an abundance of information which will answer the majority of your initial questions. If after doing all the research you have additional specific questions, everyone will be happy to help you out. Cheers and good luck.

You will definately find a job w/ a degree in education or medical. Like most places, these are the professions in demand. Once you are certified in education, you can contact the dept of education to explore your teaching options before you arrive. Applying before the school year starts is the best choice to get a good start in teaching.
