Moving to St John in Oct

I've been to St John twice for a visit. Last year and just recently. I was bitten by the bug last time and said I wanted to move down but a year later I was back there as a tourist once again. This time I was bitten much harder. I'm very serious about moving down. After six months of working at a job I can't stand I realized life is about being happy and taking risks. My plan is to stay at my job for another 6 months so I'll be there for a solid year. That will be October, which I understand is when the season starts to pick up. If anyone, especially anyone living on St John, has any advice for me, please get in contact with me. My email is [email protected].
