To All,

i just wanted to thanks each and every one of you for all your help and advice and for not sugar coating anything. I have lined up work at a local restaurant pending final interview and am very excited about it. I have been told by a family friend who lives there to stay for a week at the Tamirand Inn and search connections and and local realtors for a place to lease or roomate wanted. I am very excited about this move and look forward to be able to live this dream of moving to the USVI. The only thing that scares me is Im shipping a jeep and having to go to 5k places to get the necessary paperwork to get it to St John.

Also, if anyone has any other ideas than the Inn at Tamirand let me know.

Thanks Again
Adam

The Inn at Tamirand is very close to downtown Cruz Bay....maybe 5 minutes walking.....It is in a safe neighborhood close to the markets and laundry is very close. Also, the price is right. By downtown I mean Connections. Good luck on your move. One thing you might want to do when you first get there, on the weekends I used to hang out at the pool at the Westin...they don't mind people coming there who aren't staying there. It is a great pool and there is usually a game of volleyball going on in the pool.... It is just up the road from the Tamarind the only drawback is you have to walk over Jacobs Ladder....A lot of taxis go by the Tamarind....so you will have no trouble getting a ride, if you want to go to the beach other than Cruz Bay. There is a great market near the entrance to the Westin....because it is a little out of the way....they usually have some relatively good deals and the butcher shop is fantastic....If you like to read.....I have a large credit at the bookstore by the entrance to The Marketplace market just up the road.....feel free to stop in and tell John the owner I said you could use $20 of my credit...it will be under the name Richard Fletcher ...or Rex Bovee my roommate. .Good luck...
