myself and my girlfriend will be moving to st. thomas for 6 months...I believe we have enough saved to live cheap while we are there. Im looking for a place to stay for around $1,000 a month, a studio would be fine...Im pritty sure i can find this...The question I have is, is there any place on the island that rents cars for long periods of time, say several months....thank you for your time and help

You might want to call Bowsky at 779-2600 but I can offer no personal guarantees on what they offer. I only know from customers that they offer long-term rentals at a reasonable price but again that's only hearsay.
Your best bet would be to buy an island car (checked out by a good mechanic and the board people can help you on that) for $2K max and then resell it when you leave. I probably haven't been of too much help but that's the best that I can do right now!

Hey guys!
Just putting feelers out there!...I am comming from Australia..and moving to STT in late Nov/Dec...Looking for room mates...you never mentioned when you were moving so I guess I will ask?...I will be staying on the Island indefinatly...So if the term of the lease is longer than 6 months its ok!...Im easy going and get along with everyone...have a good position and will be shipping a jeep down to STT...If your interested keep in touch...ozcan
