I would look at the Virgin Island Daily news online. Also Sapphire Village is within walking distance of Redhook.

You could live downtown as well, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Good luck.

The island trader comes out Thursday and I will try to post some of the apartments on the board here.

If you've never been it's well worth the $600 it will cost to spend a few days on island to feel out each part of it for yourself. My $0.02

I agree with Kyle. Too risky to get a place sight unseen. I would also HIGHLY recommend getting a beater car or some sort of transport. Many people on this board have said you can't look at a particular area, it all depends on the house. I live in Mandahl on a hill, and Mandahl in general is safe but there are some parts I would not want to live in. So it very difficult to call a realtor and so oh it in Red Hook then its probably ok, many place of red hook can be sketchy.

If you want me to scope any out let me know. Just tell the broker you have a friend who wants to look at them for you and I'd be more than happy to go and email you digital pics.
