Hi I have a two part question I am planning to trip to st thomas around the May 21,2006 for 3 weeks. In a effort to familuize myself with the different area of the island I plan to return in 6 month to live and go to university of st thomas Can any one recommend where I can stay for for my 3 week visit I just need a room and small kitchen not to expensive Also does does anyone have any information regarding the university or any recommandation on where to live on the island please respond

You might want to call the Daily News (www.viphonebook.com) and ask for Circulation. They will mail you an Island Trader for $4 and the Trader usually has a few ads in it for places as you describe.

There is no University of St. Thomas, however, there is a University of the Virgin Islands (one on STX, one on STT), where I, too, plan to continue my education. A webstie that has valuable information is www.uvi.edu as well as www.collegeboard.com (type University of the Virgin Islands in the search bar). Good luck!
