If you do decide to bring the cat, make sure the condo you purchase is one of the very few that allows pets in the units! Most do not. Some people still get away with an indoor cat but can be told to get rid of the cat or move out if the management gets complaints and decides something must be done to enforce the official pet rules. Outdoor cats that roam are more likely to bring on someone's wrath. Not all people are animal friendly and it only takes one to get your pet reported and on the eviction list. Very sad, but true.
