My wife and I have been talking about moving there. What are the job outlooks looking like for an EMT/cook and a life-insurance sales person?

As you've probably gathered from reading all the general information on this site as well as forum entries, it's virtually impossible to land a job here without actually being here unless you're in a high-end profession. The unemployment rate on STT is currently over 10% and on STX around 14%. I suggest that if you're serious about moving here you invest in a PMV (pre move visit) to personally investigate what job opportunities might be available in your respective fields, if the wages can support you and if island living is for you. Good luck!
