I plan to move to the VI in the next two months. I have several years of telecom experience. Does anyone know what the possibility of getting a job in this industry on the islands?

You should probably start with the phone company, Innovative http://www.iccvi.com/, and if they can't help you, maybe they know more of where you should be looking.
