Jenny: Spend some time perusing the home page here. There is a great deal of background information for you. You will especially want to read about the schools if your children are of that age.

The area around the hospital in St Thomas is called Sugar Estate and includes a post office, a couple of small shopping centers, a public housing community, medical/dental offices, churches, an elementary school and high school, day care and homes all mixed in together.

One addition to EastEnder's post: A PMV is gong to be imperative for you since you have children, depending on their ages, of course. Hospital Ground is not an area that I would want to live in with children. JMHO.

Marty: As I am sure you are aware, Hospital Ground is not near the new hospital...

Yes, I am...I just re-read the post and found that we were talking about the actual hospital, NOT Hospital Ground! Oops! Guess I should read things a little more closely, huh? Haha!
