I hope someone with first hand knowledge can help you out. I know there are people here with MS, because I have talked to them in the past. There are some neurologists on both stx and stt. The facilities are not like in the states, but that is to be expected in an isolated area with a smaller population. If you have mobility issues it can be a bit more challenging. We had a woman named "hipcrip" who posted on this forum five or six years ago. Very interesting person, She was wheel chair bound and had severe pain problems, but she did pretty well. I haven't heard from her in several years. Good luck getting information..

Good morning, I have MS and looked into Tysabri on Stx a few years ago and then the only way to get infusions was to fly to PR. I used to inject Copaxone but stopped 2 years ago, now I control my MS with diet, supplements and alternative therapy. There is one neuro on STX and a new MRI machine. We have an MS group that meets monthly. The climate here helps me to feel better. MS is different for everyone. I hope this helps. PM for more info if you'd like.
