My nation is mourning

Georgia is a small country. Everyone is connected to everyone else by no more than one or two degrees. Nodar Kumaritashvili's death in Vancouver has saddened all of us. I plan to relocate permanently to STX this spring, and I look forward to the move with great excitement. But my joy is diminished knowing that my fellow countrymen will be mourning Nodari's death during that time.

President Saakashvili put it in perspective. Sports have risks, but no sport should lead to an athlete's death.
