Hello,
Within the next few months I will have closed on a condo here and will be shipping my truck down. I will need homeowner's insurance and auto insurance at that time. Who do you use for insurance that has fair rates and is responsive with claims? Thanks.

Marshall & Sterling, on STT they go by Theodore Tunick & Company. Have not had any claims experience with them yet.

Meaghan did an amazing job for us with our house on STT. She is very creative, and easy to work with.

Try Brian Ostrander 340-776-1535 as he was much lower than Marshall and Sterling.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure how the rates work in STT. In MA, the rates are set so the only way the price is less is if you change the deductible amount or coverage. There is no difference in rates between insurance companies here when you compare apples to apples, it's just who provides the best service and how the company they place you with (The Hartford, Liberty Mutual, Allstate, etc) is for handling claims.

For a Condo in particular you might inquire of the Association who has handled claims in a positive manner before. And find out what windstorm insurance the condos have already - if any.
You will need car insurance before they release your vehicle for registration.
