We're moving to STX next month from NW Florida...We use Net Flix here and have about a 1-2 day turn around...I figured about a week down there. Does anyone have an opinion on which of the two is quicker?

Well, my neighbors used Blockbuster because in the states and STX last year they have the program that you could also trade in your DVD's at the store between mailings. However this year, the store on STX quit the program.
I think they went back to Netflixs

I had Netflix on STT. It was ok but sometimes the turn around took a really long time. Once after 2 or 3 weeks of not receiving a movie I reported it as lost. I got an email stating that they would send out a new one. Well, the replacement came a week later and then I got one the day after that.

I use netflix. It takes about a week to get here. I personnally, like it. I can never turn a blockbuster movie in on time. Waiting a week vs standing in line for 30 minutes or more, well its a no brainer for me. I maxed out my movies to 8 a month and just stagger when they arrive so it never feels that long.

I really like Netflix. I usually get a movie in 3-4 days. The blockbuster here on STX never had the new releases in stock. I'd rather wait a few days with guarantee I'll get the movie I want.

Quicker is not a concept here! LOL I love my Netflix! I get my movies pretty close to the day they project. I have lost 2 over time- one I never got, one they never got. We like classic movies and the stores here are more into action flicks. I am very upset thought that "Far From the Madding Crowd" doesn't even show up on the "save" list.

My experience with Net Flix on STX is usually four days each way. Once in awhile three days. Over the last fifteen months only two movies have taken a week or more.

My experience has been that Net Flix is faster than Priority Mail.

They won't let you download and watch movies on line if your ISP is in the USVI.

I totally forgot about that, Jim. Maybe we should protest!

I have considered doing so, but try to find an e-mail address of a telephone number for them.

Hi Guys,

American Mainlander here. I read these forums on occassion trying to make that infamous decision of whether living in the VI is something I want and can do. All your posts are well informative and great so hopefully I can turn around and return the favor right now. I hope this helps with Net Flix.

Unfortunately Customer Service is pretty useless. I have had to deal with them twice and they basically see whatever you already see on/in your Queue. Good luck with it.
