New movie theater STX

i even forgot that was coming up

I've been looking forward to it all year!

I think of it as adult Christmas, except the only person I give presents to is my liver.

Gala opening? For a movie theater? Really?

Well they do have a game room too.:D

We went to the gala tonight as my fiancé was invited... it was cute he asked me to be his date in the most high school way possible. You guys, the theater is AMAZING!!!!!!! I mean like wow! The big Screen is MASSIVE, we decided to watch Kong. Had a great time watched ribbon cutting and heard them speak about the 10 million that went into this place. 😮 Whoa. Was standing across the table to Mapp at one point, was awkward when he took the stage and started talking about how you can't have sex in the new theater like the old one. Stay classy Mapp lol!! Gross. The staff was all really fantastic and even the bathrooms were really well done. I know but those bathrooms... haha! Great open bar and snacks and jumbies.

For real go to the movies, it's really awesome.

OHHHH and a full deli with beer wine and CHAMPAGNE! Hope the chapmagne wasn't just for tonight!

A&A: I can't believe that Mapp said that. But I was at the synagogue auction when Turnbull was governor and he kept bidding against himself (with our money, of course) and the auctioneer finally had to stop and talk to him. *-)

I burst out laughing reading this post! I had to read it to my husband. We're looking forward to moving to STX. Hoping to list our home by Memorial Day! Lots of little projects to finish up first.

I've enjoyed reading this forum over the past 4 years and want to thank you all for taking the time to answer soooo many questions. We're planning on renting for a year and take it from there. If it works out great! If not- I'm sure it will be one hell of a year that we will never forget!
