If it's open, I don't know where it is and I work in GB. Rumor mill said it was someone from Miriam's who'd left to run their own thing. Miriam's has fairly decent food.

Maria's Cantina is located where the Basic Butcher used to be. They are awaiting permits.

Maria, who developed the fantastic Mexican menu at Miriam's, is opening a new place in Gallow's Bay. I've heard its in the space where the butcher shop was, but I don't know about the opening.

So is the Basic Butcher out of business now? I know they recently moved to GB from Princesse.

Boy, that's too bad. I loved getting fish from them. Although it was very pricey, they always had something really good when we wanted to treat ourselves.
