Today i went to the AT&T store in crown bay to change my number from 305 to a local 340 i had my Blackberry so it was a little challenging because there where allot of people in line. Finally my turn the lady try to convinced me to change my plan which i already change a in Miami so back and forward i was able to change my plan and get a new sim card with a 340 number on it. The Manager of the store told me that AT&T in Puerto rico is the one that manages the network in the USVI he told me that in San Juan they are already running 3G 100% that in 6 months or less STT and STJ first will have 3G also. AT&T in Puerto rico decided not to carry the Iphone when it came out back in June 2007 because the network was already changing to 100% 3G and the Iphone was going to lack in speed and service so they opted to wait until the end of this summer when Apple will unveil the New IPhone 3G this phone will have the fastest connection via mobile broadband out of all handsets. AT&T is also upgrading all their systems to 3G in the States specially in the larger markets but they decided that in Puerto rico and the USVI because the project had already begun they opted not to release it in P.R and USVI. I also have an Iphone from the States that is not 3G i hope apple sell some kind of adapter or something so i could use it in 3G. The 3G network in San Juan is flying the Manager said speeds up to 3-4MB downloading wow!

3G iPhone coming in June. I'm "phoneless" for the moment because I'm waiting. That is great news because I'm coming in June, God-willing, with a 3G iPhone/AT&T 3G plan. FABULOUS!!!!
🙂

P.S. it's 3-4Mb (which is 0.375MB-0.5MB) 🙂 🙂 🙂
