Well, it seems longer than two weeks but am struggling with the not missing TV shows but darn I miss the news. What are you favorites on line for news?

Also, there is a new video store in Four Winds (STT) where all the old TV series - Boston Legal, Weeds, Lost, etc. - are three videos for three nights for three dollars. Also the older videos are the same price. New releases $3.95. Help support them, please, so I can get my fix until I can afford Dish Network?

Pamela

Pamela,

For me I use "msnbc.com", "cbs.com", "cnn.com/ac360" and "cnn.com/larryking".

All have up to date news. Brian Williams' show is in total with one commercial Monday thru Friday. You can also see exerpts from 60 minutes as well as other news type programs. I found that the viewing is much better now with very little stopping and starting.

Speaking of TV, are there any soccer fans on the island. My husband loves the Glasgow Rangers and wants to know if there are any soccer channels on the island of St Thomas. He needs his soccer fix daily!!!!!

NYTimes.com and BBC.com are my favorite "real" online news sources. For trashy news ("Missing tot's mom dishes on secret rendezvous" type of thing), CNN.com has in the past year begun to corner the market on that.

Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, you may be able to stream or download past episodes of some shows for free, either from the network's website or sites like Hulu.com. You can also download them to your machine for a small fee on sites like Amazon.com or iTunes.com. I have had mixed success with these methods over Innovative broadband, but it definitely can be done!

I am trying also to find an unlimited wireless plan. I have ATT aircard with a 5 gig download limit so I try to be cautious. I am working from home right now so downloading streaming is a luxury.

Thanks!
