Dish Network is getting more and more useless. Did Innovative cable lose CBS as well?

Also useless Dish. We no longer have CBS, we no longer have the HD feeds on ABC and NBC. We no longer have CNN. We only get FoxNews in SD.

More and more useless every day.

Are these available on Innovative Cable? I have been a Dish customer here in the VI for over 15 years and am getting tired of the lack of service.

I went to watch NCIS that I recorded earlier and instead it was a program telling me why it wasn't there. I miss my programming.
I miss CNN and HNN news. Glam Beck - good grief!

I don't really care about HD but I want my programs!

It's happening here in California too. I've been finding those recordings for certainmissing stations.

I've written a couple of posts on the subject. I was also a VERY longtime and very faithful Dish customer (one of their first here). Switched to Innovative a couple of months ago - perfect and way less expensive as I took the bundle (already had the landline and internet). No problems at all. This is on STT.

We have Innovative and all the networks + CNN, HDLN and FOX News.
It's not perfect but with the bundle, it's acceptable.

We were going to switch to DISH last year and did not as we were planning to move. Glad we didn't!

My gosh, people? How do you watch Big Bang Theory if you don't have CBS?! Next you'll say you don't have HGTV! I like my Innovative.

the reason we switched to dish was because innovative could not fix whatever was keeping us from getting hgtv, food and another station. now we have lost at least 4 stations on dish that we like. WTF. i almost wish we had stayed with innovative.
i sure hope football isnt aired on cbs

So how come Innovative gets to keep those channels and DISHTV doesn't?

I need my Mark Harmon/NCIS fix! WTF, indeed! Bad enough they replaced the Turner News Channels with crap. Plus, I have noticed that my bill has not reflected any changes for the loss of these channels which sort of pisses me off.

Ha, ha! I get CBS free over the air. Am thinking about getting Innovative bundle for the unlimited internet data since my previous internet provider imposed caps. I got confirmation that the network affiliates are the same as the ones over the air, so hope to get Innovative soon! Dish couldn't answer where network affiliates came from.

Did you notice your bill going up when they were added? Mine didn't.

They had the channels already so that's what I was paying for.

Not laughing at others problems. Letting people know about other options. Nobody ever mentions that you can get TV without cable or dish. Limited, yes, but better than nothing.

I don't know why the idea of a la carte programming never caught on. With an infant I'd choose Disney and I watch one show a week so I'd want AMC. I have 200 plus channels stuff that never gets watched

That is why cable never appealed to me. Why pay for stations I don't want? Finally, the internet may soon give me the TV I've been waiting years for.

I agree.

I'd like to be able to choose the channels I prefer to watch and not have all the channel clutter of the 100's, I'll never watch or listen to.

I was reading 5 years ago how Comcast ATT were going to start offering a la carte programming. They could probably make more that way. They are so backward thinking though they are going to lose out because of internet. Unless, of course, net neutrality is eliminated. Then we will all get shafted

People think I'm insane for not having cable channels, and I always ask them if there was ever an issue that I wasn't informed about.

We had more shared experiences when we had limited TV. I have to go online to discuss some movies/shows that nobody I know watches.

I called Dish and reduced my programming back to bare minimum.

CBS has new app which let's you stream live shows. $5.99/month or you can watch shows for free one day late at www.cbs.com, I just watched NCIS.

Reducing my Dish bill by quite a bit which allows me to add more streaming services.

Bye bye dish

With Dish chiseling away at the favored lineup, it almost seems like having Dish service is like having the proverbial land line. Over priced for what you get. Adios Dish...

TCM is part of the Turner dispute involving CNN, HLN, TRU, Cartoon, and TCM.

CBS is a nationwide contract dispute between Dish and CBS.

I hope they can come to an agreement TODAY! Or at least very soon!!!!
