I will be finishing my NP program after three more semesters and am interested in eventually relocating to the USVI and opening up a small family practice. I would like to provide primary care to those on vacation in the VI as well as to the locals.
Can anyone provide any information regarding the NP laws in the VI or the availability/need for this kind of service there?
thanks
Leila

Hello Leila,

I would suggest getting a job with a family practice so you can feel out the market, need, community, how things work here, building a name for yourself among your patients/referals (using that time to research your own plans to open a practice).

Licensing for physicians and health services call the Commission of Health's Office and request a licensing application and ask for details. (340)774-0117
