Well the trip was great. Got in on Nov. 15th to get the condo opened and cleaned up before Thanksgiving. had some family that came down for a week at Thanksgiving. They stayed at the hotel on Prodistant Caye. we also had our condo neighbors over, as they got in for their 6 month stay a few days before.

I sent down a super clean 1985 Bronco II to have something to drive around. Probably too nice to send down, as it was a rust / dent free AZ. vehicle, but oh well I know it is in good mechanical shape.

My wife was there for two weeks, and then she had to get back to work. She let me stay another two weeks before I had to go to Orlando for a racing trade show.

On the Sunday after Thanksgiving, we went to the Starving Artists at Whim, and my wife got to meet my dive buddys, Pam and Doreen. Pam is a very good artist who we have one of her painting here in AZ. Then we went to the message board get together at Full Moon bar, where we got to meet some new people in person, had a nice visit.

Got to a lot of diving, even during the week that the seas were so rough due to the winds. Dove on the West end with N2Blue, very nice people. The week that my wife left, my friend Jim, who I met when he lived there, who since moved here to AZ. came down for a week of diving.

Went to Full Moon on a couple of Fridays for the all you can eat shrimp, and the last time I heard Splash, the fantastic duet who I recommend everyone toi catch them there or anywhere.

The last week I was there, my friends Rick and Leslie got back from thier vacation in the states, and had a nice visit.

I went to the bar restraunt with the overhead serving area early in the week before the boat show. i asked about resverations or what I had to do to watch from thier top floor. they said it would open about 4 or 5pm, and be first come first seated. When I got down there at 3pm, the day of the show, I found out that they started reserving seating after I was there, and everything was gone, and $10 a seat. I went down to Stixx and asked what it took to sit above them. they were very nice and said that I could go on up and reserve all the space I wanted, but I would have to go back down for drinks. No big deal!
I saved seats for myself and 8 others. The best seats for the show :)!

I finally had to leave on the 13th for the trade show. What a bummer. Didn't want to come back to the cold weather.

But we will be back in March for another 3 or 4 weeks. See you all then.

Oh I almost forgot, on a Sunday we went with Alexandra and friends on her boat to Buck Island for the day. Had a great time 🙂 . Also went to Trivia night at Knoleys 3 weeks. Also fun. We also drove around and explored some more roads we have never been on.
Went a couple of times to the new (4 or 5 month old) fruit stand in the rain forest. It's about 1/2 mile East of the pigs. It's run by a very nice West Indian family, and they have the best smoothies, they are starting a petting zoo. They have two of the sweetest baby goats that just love people. On weekends, their daughter about 12 yrs old waits on people, a real sweetheart.

Sounds like you had a great visit Terry!! Do you have covered parking for the Bronco?

Thanks for the trip report. 🙂

I called the storage rental place but it was way too much money.
