Just trying to gauge what the job market is like for the field. I have done sales/cashier in major tourism related shops as well as in grocery for the past 15 or so years. Love working with an international clientele and have some foreign language skills.
What could I expect as a starting wage?
Thanks
Tammy

Hello Tammy,

If you get in with one of jewerly stores or like boutiques in town you might be on commission which varies by employer and can be good $ if you are a good sales person in a popular store. On the flip side i have spoken to sales people in the clothing stores in town that make minimum wage.
