Anyone have any experience with Dr. Bacot, the orthopedic specialist?

His main office is on STT, but he also comes to STX to see patients.

That's good news. I have an appointment with him on Friday.

I'm guessing there will be surgery involved. I'm ready for anything to stop the pain.

I've been gout to him for post-op femur surgery treatment. The surgery was done in Canary Islands. Dr. Bacon is very personal and I guess he's a good surgeon, because I haven't heard ANY complaints. However, just as with any doctor, you need to be proactive, and research your treatment options.and ask questions. He forgets to tell you things, but he dictates things he. may not have mentioned in your treatment record. He did my co-worker's knee replacement, and my co-worker has resumed all his normal job duties, and his job is kind of physical. I've met others who have had replacements of other parts, and they won't go to anybody else, and they have the option to go Stateside.for treatment. Pls ignore typos. Using my smartphone.

What days does he come to St. Croix? Does he do surgery at the hospital here also? I thought he was only in St. Thomas.

On STX I'd recommend Dr. Pederson as an ortho. He provided a clear diagnosis and the right course of surgery in my case. His office is in Sunny Isle and office number is 340.778.6110.

I'll find out more tonight. He sees patients at Primary Care in Princesse.

ms411, that's really good to hear. Thanks!

I saw Dr. Bacot tonight. Very professional. Excellent manner. He does his surgery at the hospital on STT.

He relieved the knee pain immediately with an injection and will do a surgical procedure next week.

A colleague, spine specialist Dr. Alexander Lenard, has joined the practice. I will see him later this month here on STX,

I'm hopeful I'll start the new year pain free. 🙂
