OT: Looking for a fountain

About 8 years ago, my wife and I visited ST. Thomas. While there, we went to ST. Johns. There was a shop across from the dock that had this odd table top fountain.
I have never seen it again, and it doesn't seem to be mass produced.
There was a ball on top that you turned. Water came out from under the ball and was forced down in a solid wall in a full 360 around the base. There were two birds at the base.
If you turned the ball one way, and broke the wall of water, it caused the wall to get bigger. Till it hit the birds at the edge of the bowl, which prevent it from getting bigger.
If you turned the ball the other way and broke the wall of water, the bubble it formed got smaller, and contracted closer to the center.

I have done quite a bit of searching, and it seems this is not a mass produced piece, which seems right from what I remember. As I recall it ran around 200 or 300 dollars. At the time that was too much money, now I would like to find it for a mother's day present.

If any of you can help, if the store is even still there, please post the contact info.

I assume you mean St. John (St. Johns with an 's' is another island - common mistake). I think I know what store where the fountain was located. I loved that store, they had a lot of unique items, some pricey some cheap, but I haven't seen another store like it on the islands. Unfortunately the store met with an untimely death as it was destroyed by fire last year or the year before. Long story, but I could be wrong about which store. They had fountains, carved stone animals (small and large), some asian, some india influenced, some just island influenced stuff, furniture, clothing, jewelry, maps, etc. Back a couple of years ago I asked where he got the items and he said it wasn't on island, but I didn't get where exactly. Probably having unique items was what kept him in business as there is a lot of shopping on the islands. His store was across from the dock, one street back or rather you walked thru an alleyway to get to it or go around the block. Check ebay. If I can't find something, it will pop up there randomly. Good luck.

Thanks.
That is too bad. I hope you are wrong and someone else has seen it too.
The problem is I don't know what kind of fountain it is. I even called several places that only sell fountains and they had never seen or heard of anything like it.
As I recall, a woman owned, or was running the store the day we were there. It did have a lot of different things in it as you described though.
