Hi everyone in St. Thomas!
I've got some work at UVI to do next week, plus a friend is going to be on island on Tuesday, 11/9, for a few hours, so I'm flying over on Seaborne for a few days. I need a place to stay that won't cost an arm and a leg.
If you have a room that you can let out for a few days, or even if you don't mind a roomie for a couple of days, I'll be happy to help you defray your rent or utilities a bit. Please keep in mind, tho, that I can't pay much as I'm still in hock over my ears from all the costs of moving to STX in September.

You might want to check out www.niceplacetostay.com It sounds like it would be right for you. Nice place. I haven't stayed there, but was considering it for family coming in and not enough room here. I have met some people associated with it and they are good nice people. Good luck.
