Passport Photos Needed - STX

I'm having a bear of a time trying to locate someone on STX who takes passport photos. We need to renew our passports ASAP but can't do it without the photos, and we're not comfortable taking them ourselves. (The guideline for doing so are daunting.)

Can anyone please help point us in the right direction?

Thanks!
HC

(Been ages since I've been here. Howdy to all my old friends who are still lurking about!)

Hello HC,

When I saw your name as the author I thought - is that a new thread or an old one getting put back to the top because of a reply... and sure enough it was a new thread. It has been a long time since you have been on the message board. Good to see a post from you! Hope all is well with you and K.

Hey Hip-- good to see you again!

RE passport photos-- I just took them myself, auto-timer on camera, standing in front of a white wall. Printed three sets (different poses) in case the passport agency person found fault. No worries-- she barely glanced at them. Just face forward, lips together, no "excessive expression", make sure the top of your shoulders and top/sides of your head/hair show.

2" x 2"

I printed mine at max DPI (600? maybe just 300), trimmed.

Welcome back, HipCrip! You were definitely missed. 🙂 You won't remember me from my screenname, but I used to post anonymously years ago.

I don't have anything useful to offer on STX, although on STJ they do them two days a week at Connections (in case anyone else is searching for this info). Did you check out http://www.epassportphoto.com/? It gives you easy guidelines and for a small fee they will do an independent verification to make sure your photos will pass.
