Paying WAPA bill in person - STX

Where do I go to pay my WAPA bill in person on STX? It's due today and no one is answering their customer service line to tell me where to go. Or if they do a pay-by-phone method, even better. Thanks!

WAPA is located in the Sunny Isle area, across from the new Kmart/Sears appliance store (same parking lot). I don't know about the phone system, but you can pay on line. You need to be set up for it, and have a password. I think it takes a couple of days, so best to pay this one in person and get set up for next month.

They also have a drive through. Take a book!

Good luck, its the day before an unofficial holiday I'll give your even odds that they are closed for "employee training" or someother excuse.

I was amazed at all the people who wait in that drive-through line to pay their WAPA bill, instead of mailing in a check. Then I spoke to somebody who said they didn't have a checking account. Is that why so many people pay in person?

Thanks for all the responses. Just got back from Sunny Isle and WAPA was closed. I did put a check in the drop box so I'm hoping it will all be taken care of, for this month's bill at least.

I pay in person because I use an American Express card. They don't take Amex on line. My bill runs about $2000 each month. That's a lot of points toward airline tickets.:-)

The easiest way: just go to any bank. MUCH easier than actually going to WAPA.

Yes, most of it is, and I get reimbursed by the tenants.

Speaking of WAPA bills, is anyone else having trouble paying online? I keep getting a message that the system is unavailable...
