Safe? Bring your own utensils.
Good, the place at goldenrock, there's also one at sunny isle.
Want to spoil yourself? Buccaneer spa... The divi spa used to be good to but I haven't been there in a couple of years.

Tamarind Reef Spa has a new Therapist that does pedicures. I haven't gotten over to give her a try yet though.
Nails Time in Golden Rock is good. They do always soak the utensils in alcohol.

I use Nails Time in Golden Rock. Not pleased with their French pedi, but tried just plain polish last time and it has stayed on a decent amount of time.

a few years ago I had a pedi in miami. They actually used a power sander and eye protection. Pumice just doest do the trick. I found a this pacddle thing that looks like an over sized emory board. I soak my feet in oil salt and H2O. Dry off. then file (sand). Then slopp on gobbs of shea. Then sleep with socks on. I normally do this the same night i soak my hair in oil and sleep in plastic shower cap. Somtimes I cover my lips and elbows in layers of shea too. The price of bueaty!

Spencer's!!! Ask for Jennifer! When I lived on STX I got my pedi & mani at Spencer's simply because they are the best (in my opinion). I have tried out the ones in Golden Rock & the one next to AARP in Sunny Isles next around K-mart appliance store (clearly I don't know the name lol) but they did a half a**ed job. At Spencer's they use a corn cutter that scrapes the bottom of your feet (it tickles) and removes ALL the dead skin, other places rarely do that.
