I've posted on this board a few times. My husband and I are moving to St. Thomas in October of 2005. We're visiting for our "pre-move" visit starting next week. I'd like to pick peoples brains about personal fitness training. Do people seem to be interested in personal training? do a lot of the residents workout? Is personal fitness important to people that live on the island? What about tourists? Resorts?

There are several gyms that offer personal training- one in Nisky Center, one by Cost-U-Less, one at the Marin Center at Antilles, Gold's on the waterfront, Gym Sweeney at the Elysian... Don't know what their arrangements are with the trainers. There are also hotel spas at the Reef, Sugar Bay and the Ritz.
