Looking into relocating myself with pets. Can you let me know what info you get? I need a furnished place though. Only planning on 6 months initially until I figure out if I want to stay. How are you moving your pets? Thanks!!!

We already live here and have for years. Just looking for larger place closer to work My hubby works and i'm currently putting nights part time. So would like place closer to smith bay. As for your pets contact your airline and get info needed to travel with them..then get all shots and travel papers from your vet.

I'm coming out soon to look further at St. T's. Jobs are tough to find? Have nobody to ask questions. I have 2 AA degrees and a BA in Criminal Justice. I currently work as a x-ray and CT Tech.

I have a large dog and worry about him being in baggage. Worry how he will be treated, etc. New experience for me as I am coming alone with my pets. Hard to make friends??

Thanks

I have traveled every where with my pets, once had 100+ lb dog who had more travel air miles than most people.
If you read this forum on jobs you may be able to find some one who can help. Also check the virgin islands news press on-line.

Lori - you seriously need to go to the first announcement at the top of this page (new to the forum...) and research via this. A whole font of information is readily available to you with just a click!

There are also numerous posts on this forum concerning shipping animals but that shouldn't be your first concern right now. Do your research, do it well, then do a PMV .

I understand why you tagged onto Peggy's post and, with all due respect, she didn't make her post clear! She's not a newbie and, even if she were, you should always create your own thread (after researching!)

For those who might respond to Peggy's post about looking for a place to live on the East End, I've known Peggy and her husband for years, they're LONG-time residents, are "of a certain age" and are totally responsible and hard-working folks. They are wonderful people with impeccable references who simply want to move from the North side to the East. for job proximity. They're seeking a reasonably priced, unfurnished 2-3 bedroom house which is "pet friendly" (a fenced-in yard is always a plus.)

I will personally vouch for them 100%. Not only is good help often hard to find but good property tenants are even harder to find. I'd put my money on them any day and that's like gold in the bank, given the reputation I have on this forum as being damned feisty! Cheers!
