Any good pet stores on STT? I am bringing my cat, since I cannot find a home for her here. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Does Kmart have a big pet selection?

petco is cheaper for both food and kitty litter-takes about 1-2 weeks for the shipment to arrive.

All the grocery stores have pet products and food.
The type, brand, variety and prices vary from place to place.
There are also other dedicated pet stores but I have found them "very expensive."
All the local vets also provide pet products and once again, depends on what you are looking for.
Many people on this Forum order supplies from the states.

If relocating, bring your own supply to last at least until you see what is availabal, locally.
Depends on your needs.
Prices do vary considerably so best to check them out, first as you will see is true of all products and produce for pet or human consumption.

Also, be aware that finding a rental that allows pets isn't easy. So I hope you have a place lined up already.

Actually, there is a pet store right at Crown Bay Marina but that is one I considered "very expensive" and not at all in my budget.
The same dog collars that are sold at Pueblo down the road were marked way up and everything else was very pricey to my mind.
Over and above what I would normally pay, even at the vet's office for same products. I know they have rent to pay but paying twice as much for a product there when I can get the identical item somewhere else for much less, doesn't float my boat.

However, if you are in Water Island, you may find it convenient. Pueblo is not too far a walk from Crown Bay Marina but if you're lugging groceries and pet food (their prices, while less than that the pet store, I think are high as well) you may want to invest in some sort of carrier with wheels if you won't have access to a car. One must really shop around as the prices do vary, sometimes greatly, place to place.
Good luck and enjoy your time on Water Island!

Thanks, I appreciate the information! I will be the one pulling my son's wagon full of groceries to the ferry!
