Hello Don,

Shortage?? Its not a position you hear about often like teachers or nurses. However I would suggest contacting the various pharmacies and seeing if they have openings, perhaps faxing your resume. I don't see a great turn over in the pharmacy area - ie. the pharmacy at K-mart on St. Thomas has had the same pharmacist since they opened it seems; they did get another pharmacist a few years ago who wasn't there long - not sure if they were a temp. or intern. In any case pull up the list of pharmacies in the yellow pages at www.viphonebook.com and make some calls. I remember a few months ago someone was asking about golf course management positions - and since we only have 4 golf courses lots of folks including myself said such and wouldn't you know about 2 months later the Reef Golf Course on St. Croix advertised a management position - so its worth looking into but keep in mind what was mentioned about the low turn over for pharmacist.

Good Luck.
