*Hello, I am trying to locate current phone #'s for a few people I met on the trips I've taken to St. Thomas awhile back. Also, looking for the "adult/ gentlemens clubs", where women dance, to try to arrange to come back and work at one of the clubs, as I am an exotic dancer. Please help. Need a phone book and or the names/ #'s and or addresses of the nightclubs in the entire USVI. Thanks in advance. Lolita

Uh, Lolita? Did you see any clubs in St Thomas where you might want to work? I only say that because, well, most of them are not in areas where tourists go, and they definitely aren't advertised. And I would assume that is the kind of job you have to interview for in person???

Lolita, I have to second Wha??!!'s hints. STT, in my opinion, is very conservative and is reflected in the fact that the adult industry is very, very low-key.
There are a couple of "clubs" in Charlotte Amalie on the back street with the Dept. of Labor. I know of at least the Jala Jala and another one whose name escapes me. But they do not employ "dancers" in the sense that you might find in other stateside communities. Whenever I have driven by at night it seems that the $$ to be made is minimal and the work environment not the best. In other words, I think you might find more financial success being a cocktail waitress on teh East End. Just my opinion.
However, if you like dancing just for the heck of it, come on down!
Also, if you are willing to try out new places I know that St. Maarten/St. Martin has a lot of clubs. I don't know what kind of visa issues you may have though.
Good luck!
