coming down for a pmv april 18-may 2, which rental place for a jeep wrangler or does it matter

Centerline Car Rentals is also a good place to try. Some of the board posters have had good luck with Mid-West Auto Rental, also.
Car rental companies run out of vehicles now and then, so it's good to have a few places to call if the first doesn't work out. The dates you will be here shouldn't be a problem, but this coming weekend the island is out of hotel rooms and cars due to the Mardi Croix festival.
