Hello Cam!
I am also a Pilates Instructor, although not currently practicing. I have my PPS-1 Certification from Peak Pilates. Where did you go to school, and what type of certification do you have? You will find it rough here if you are certified beyond mat classes, as there is zero equipment (besides a few balls) that exist. Beeston Hill is the main gym (there is one other, but Beeston is where I would recommend) that may have a few mat classes you could teach. I am trying to get motivated but since I have been taught a very strenuous Classical Pilates format I find it difficult to not have the ability to teach it all.. ykwim? I was hoping to have some equipment shipped down, but as I'm sure you know it is not an inexpensive feat! If you do manage to move down here, pm me, it would be great to work out together at the very least!
Take care,
Lindsay

Hi,

I am a Peak Pilates Trainer! I have been with the company since the birth of the education program. I currently live in Annapolis, Md. I did my formal training at the Pilates Center in Boulder, Co.

I have taught over 30 Peak Pilates Trainings (PPSI-PPSIII and chair/Barrel). Currently, also teaching the MVe Chair Certifications.

I am planning on moving to St.Croix in Sept. 07. Bringing all my equipment with me! 3 TWS, Chairs, Cadi etc. Don't buy your equipment yet! I will need instructors! Also, I sell equipment for Peak and can save you $.

Let's talk! 410 279 1430. Check out my website www.precision-pilates.net.

Hi,

I posted a message on the board and havn't heard back. I am a Peak Pilates Senior Trainer! I have been with the company since the birth of the education program and have been conducting certifications for 4 years here in Annapolis, Md. and all over the U.S.

Who and where did you do your PPSI?

Our plan is to move to St.Croix this fall, Sept. I am bringing ALL MY EQUIPMENT with me. I have a full studio. My goal (and as force with Peak) is to bring Peak Pilates to the U.S.V.I.

All your help now and then would be great!

Call me anytime! 410 279 1430.

Cheers,
Cameron

Hello,

What a small world! I am a Peak Pilates Senior Trainer. I have been with the company for 4 years and have been conducting certifications for them since the beginning.

In fact, I have probably taught the most PPSI-PPSIII for Peak in the last 4 years then any other trainer. I currently live and own a studio in Annapolis, Md.

My formal training was through the Pilates Center in Boulder. My history is a fitness and I discovered Pilates in 1985.

Anyways, we are planning on moving to St.Croix in Sept. I will be moving ALL MY EQUIPMENT. I have a full studio of equipment - complete with 3 TWS, Cadi, Chairs, barrels, MVe chairs and more.

I will be looking for a place to set up shop and hope to bring Peak's Education Program to the U.S.V.I.'s

Any help, support or input you can give me would be great.

Cheers,
Cameron

Cameron,
Wow what a small world it is!! I was taught by Cherry and Melody in Houston. That is fantastic you will be setting up shop here, I wish I would still be here so I could work for you!! (We are considering moving back to Austin to further our education.) If you pm me privately I can tell you a few *things* to watch for and people whom I know are interested. Is your husband coming on contract or does he have an independent business? Or are you coming alone? You can pm me back, I'm just curious because sometimes contracts here run out and setting up a whole studio is alot of work! :0)
Take care,
Lindsay
