I posted a message a couple of weeks ago regarding employment and several kind people responded...thanks. I am happy to report that I was offered a pilot position with Seaborne Airlines in St. Croix beginning October 3, 2005. The first three weeks the housing is taken care of but I am now looking for a cottage, 1-bedroom apartment, efficiency, etc. in Christiansted in the price range of 800 to 1200 per month for a short or long term lease. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thans again for all the feedback. Larry

Congrats Larry on the job offer!! 😀 You should find an apartment during those initial 3 weeks on island by asking around & looking in the Avis.

All the best with your move, keep us posted.

Congratulations,
When you get down and are looking for something to do. Check out www.viflyingcircus.com The VI Flying Circus is a group of pilots, air traffic controllers and others who meet every Tuesday night for a little socializing. The weekly location is posted on the website. Almost everyone in the group flys or is interested in aviation.

Hi Larry,
You can look at our webpage to see some photos of the condo unit. Heres the web page http;//slherrin.tripod.com
It will show you some photos of the bedroom, living room, kitchen, dinning room. Also some info on the place & the number of the manager when you get down on Island if you want to check it out. We'd like to have 1st & last rent and the deposit, but for a good renter (and staying in the island mode) we'd set a guy up with 1st month rent & deposit.
We are probably a little bias, but we think it is a wonderful place! That goes for our condo unit & STX.
If you have questions give us a call here in Montana at 406-295-5511 or drop a note to my wifes e-mail at [email protected]
Later!
