It is NOT safe or allowed to sleep on the beach - you should search// read through this board for awhile to get a much clearer idea of life here.

"What are the risks in mo if over alone?" Huh? I would highly recommend a PMV before taking that leap...95% of the people that move here are back in the States within 6 months...with much less money in their pockets., of course. It's one of those things that people think will be 'paradise', but, once involved, they find that it isn't quite what they had envisioned. You won't see Tom Cruise mixing drinks...that is just the movies. You have to work, you have have to pay bills, you have to go to the stores, you have to go to the post office, etc., etc., etc......and you have to do all of these types of things, just like you did in the States, but you have to do them while sitting in traffic and standing in line...and sometimes being discriminated against because you aren't 'local'...some find it easy to fit into that mold, some don't. That's why a PMV is so important.

And you have found the right place to meet people right here...find the ones that have loads of posts, the ones that reply with decent advice, the ones you feel are already friendly...send them an e-mail or a PM and the friend-making will go it's own course...

Judging by you letter I think that you think that the islands are all beaches and we live in huts and eat fish that we catch. Not so. The life here is good. And you can meet as many people as you want. I would suggest that you spend some money and come on down before you commit to life here.
