Plaskett video

Thursday morning I woke up at 430, got on Facebook to wish a friend happy birthday and came across a video. I actually accidentally clicked on it and after 10 seconds of a shirtless man in makeup I clicked it off. It was too early to process what I was seeing without coffee. It wasn't until later I heard about Del. Plaskett's phone being hacked. I immediately thought dirty political tricks, but have since heard there has been a rash of people's private stuff being disseminated unto the internet. It was a weird video and it is a weird situation. Just wondering what others think of it?

It is weird that according to police, there have been others in VI who have had compromising videos posted, supposedly without their knowledge.

As a public person, you have to be very careful. If she were Donald Trump she'd be bragging about how much free "publicity" she's getting.

Her opponent is a joke, so her job should be safe.

Stupid for using a cell phone in this manner and thinking it was secure.

Thanks Sparty, I still haven't seen my Happy Birthday post from you, but I'm enjoying my 49th today and will be down tomorrow in STX if you want to buy me a beer.

Cheers 🙂

Yeah I'm not impressed either. I'd be more impressed videotaping my wife making cassoulet. Now that would be sexy

It's okay to get naked. Just don't do it in front of a phone or camera.

Porn must not be selling well since everybody is seemingly making their own.:-)

Not that it makes any difference at all but reports indicate that it was a computer which was hacked, not a 'phone.

I don't really care what someone does in the privacy of their home however it shouldn't include a 7 yr. old child during those "playful" intimate moments.
Not a fan of Plaskett since she voted for the Dark Act.
Not a fan of Russell, either.
That leaves Gordon Ackley, who's a republican and whose party I'm obviously not a fan of either.

So it can be assumed that you saw the video?

Dark Act? Lol.
I'm.so happy that Bill was passed to.eliminate different states having different laws. Worked out great for Vermont. 3000 products who refused to label a breeding method suddenly became no longer available to Vermonters. The best part of their hypocritical Bill was giving a pass to Vermont cheese makers who used GMO chymosin to make their cheese. Plaskett stood for science and against pandering to anti intellectuals. I've been named in the same room as my toddler. Oh no! The child was not naked. Nothing bad was going on. Jeez. Write yourself in.. or are you running for Marco Rubio's Senate seat in FL?

I've addressed her on other environmental and animal welfare issues and she's been totally non responsive. Lot of talk on radio, no results that I've seen.
Not that I'll vote for Ronald Russell.
The jury is still out on Ackley.
If I move soon enough, I'll just vote for Hillary.

I didn't say anything bad was going on with the child.
I don't think it's appropriate for a child to be involved in the scenario. Period.

Say what you will but I do believe people have a right to know what's in the food they purchase and make their own choices as to their food products consumption. Is that okay with you Mr. GMO and Pesticides advocate?

You can still know without creating unnecessary costly labels. I know you may have the extra disposable income for that but I don't. I'm a science advocate. The science shows GMOs are safe and equally nutritious, thus a label designating breeding practices is silly. It would be akin to labeling children "created via missionary". You know what is IN your food already with an ingredient label. I don't know what you expect from a non voting member of congress but being in favor of the "Dark Act" helps her Virgin Island constitutes who already pay too much for food.

This is a subject we don't agree as has been expressed, times, too numerous to count and that's fine.

So you have seen the video and "the scenario" where a child is apparently present isn't "family fun" but adult behavior of a sexual nature inappropriate for children?

I dont understand how seemingly intelligent people dont think phones/computers can be hacked.

People can tape anything they want. Just be smart about it.
