My friend moved here with his 3 year old beautiful bird dog and has to keep it on the balcony of his house because they do not have a yard. This dog needs a place to run and play and the owner wants to find a better home for it. The dog is black and white and very playful. His name is Chance and he has been stuck on the small balcony for a LONG time. If you know anyone that is looking for a good dog or want one yourself, please take him. There is no fee and I believe the owner has a large kennel too.

Please PM me or you can call the owner Jon at 832-738-6834 if you would like to take care of him. Thanks everyone!

I wondered the same thing and have come to the conclusion that he just doesn't care that much for the dog. I still do not understand why he brought the dog here as they have been here for almost 2 years now and the dog has been stuck in a very small space for a long time. I am just glad that he has agreed to find a better home for it. Not sure what would happen if he brought it to the animal shelter 🙁

Call Donna at Sadie's Pet Boutique. She often has dog ads in the window or will take a dog to the shop with her to get it adopted. She also works very closely with the local shelter and may have some ideas. Honestly, the shelter might be a better place for the pup - since it's not getting adequate exercise or socialization. You can keep it there with a no-euthanization clause, so that if they cannot find a home it's not put down.
