I also am a plumbing contractor. When I went on my pre-move-visit the first morning I was there I had a knock on my door. Guess who?
It was the plumber. I had a nice little chat with him. I came away with a positive outlook. In a nutshell, he related to me there was room for plumbers, ie;contractors. He also said Hovensa, the oil refinery was always hiring plumbers. From speaking to local workers in the trades, I learned there was a large amount of renovation work here. (STX) other than that, I've never been anywhere were they couldn't use another plumber. I also have a sight address were you can find exactly what the requirements are to opptain a licence in the USVI. However my comp crashed, I had to buy a new one and haven't gotten to the disc with the address on it. I will post it asap.
