5. Take your budget and see how you will make ends met by looking at various grocrey, insurance, utilitty, gas, entertainment etc.

6. Make sure that you have 10,000 to move down with.

6. Establish a bank account.

🙂 #6 made me laugh Bill. I moved down with $700 and made it work. While I definitely don't recommend that unless you're really looking for an adventure, you can certainly make the move comfortably with much less than $10,000.

Sorry, St. Croix. And I was more looking for information such as which areas to check out and which to not waste my time, what are the great local hangouts for food and cold refreshing adult beverages, things along those lines.

Additionally, anyone know a good realtor? I know you all recommend renting first, which I may do, but I was wanting to look around and see what's available while I'm here.
