Dear STX Islanders,

Last year, I did a PMV to STT and loved it. In 12 days, I leave the Caucasus for a second PMV, this time to STX.

What kind of weather can I expect?

I'll be doing PADI certification dives in the open water and sailing. What kind of seas can I expect?

Thanks!

Edward

Hi Edward,
September can be a bit hot and muggy (same as STT), with less breeze than some months. A lot of businesses actually close down for the month because it is such a slow month, but unless there is a weather system, i.e. tropical depression, storm or hurricane, the seas should be pretty calm and the water will be warm.

Hope you found a place on the ocean. You will get more breeze than inland.

Whom are you diving with? If you havent' already booked it, I recommend SCUBA. Capt. Ed is a poster on here, and they have an excellent reputation, and they do a lot to promote STX.

Enjoy!

I finished my 5 PADI eLearning sections here in the Caucasus online and will be diving with SCUBA. Ed and Young Jon have been helpful.
