I will be coming to STX for a PMV, most of my time may actually be spent with my potential employer, but I want to get around to as many places as possible. Any suggestions? Also any ideas on where to stay for a short visit
A good real estate agent (for rentals)
An insurance agent
Car company
Bank
whatever else I'm missing

I'm looking to see mostly the stuff that will give me a good feel for the island and living there. If I make the decision to move, I can catch up on tourist stuff later.

Do window shopping, for food, household goods, whatever you think you'll need. Go the beaches, bars and restaurants. It's touristy, but popular with residents too. Talk to people everywhere you go. Ask questions. We're friendly.

Plan to live and work on the same side of Christiansted. You will be much happier.
