Is that what is being built in Cotton Valley near the fire station?

Yes, there is a sign that identifies it as the new sub station.

I hope they truly man the new sub-station out east. Unlike the one that was built on the North Shore that now sits empty and the bush is taking it over.

Lots of luck on having it staffed. The North Shore was nothing more than spending the money allocated for building it, with no real intention of staffing it. Too add more insult, the A/C unit was stolen less than 48hrs after installing it,

there used to be a substation setup east many years ago. Was not much use.Tthe officer who staffed it could not leave the premises, even when citizen went inside and told him something was happening almost right outside..he had to send for a patrol car from town, When subject came up (several police commissioners ago) residents asked commissioner and governor at meeting for more and constant patrol cars instead...so far have gotten neither.

It looks more like a Fiber Access Point with the amount of conduit and it would be kind of small for an Police Station. Did you know that land was given to the Govt to build it on with the condition that ground be broken within 1 year. They blew it. The deal expired and now they will have to buy the land if there still is to be a station out East. Your VI Gov't can even screw up a free lunch, chusps

That is why I asked the question... Looks a little bizarre to me. Doesn't look like the police substation at all.

Too true and too sad that our VI Government simply cannot get their act together.
What a waste! Chusps, indeed!
