I know you can't vote for presidential candidates as Virgin Island residents, but what do you think of the current commander in chief? Do vigin islanders in general support, criticize, or ignore the current administration? I am not looking for a specific answer here. Im just curious.

The Virgin Islands comprises an incredibly diverse group of people from many backgrounds, ethnic, cultural and political spheres so, in my opinion, your question really can't be answered in general terms. I think an overall poll would probably render pretty much the same result as those done on the mainland.

I'm pretty sure most Virgin Islanders (who tend to lean toward the Democratic party) are against the current administration. There is the Republican Party here, but they don't have much political power noawadays.

I tend to agree with DL. For the most part, Virgin Islanders lean democrat.

However, they are so preoccupied with thier own governmental issues, that you rarely hear anything about stateside government.

The VI government has enough excitement, controversy, characters, corruption and incompetence that it makes talking about stateside politics kind of like talking about AAA baseball.
