Why hasn't he been arrested? This is thievery of government funds. Isn't that the same theory they used to go after DeJongh?

Also don't forget governor Schneider, who used government funds to pay the housing expenses of his sidekick, despite being warned about the illegality of such expenditures.

However, Schneider wasn't insisting that his Lt. Governor be accommodated with lodgings and furnishings, utilities, etc., for the entire term against the counsel of his attorny general at taxpayer expense. Schneider was a weasel, no doubt.
Mapp learned at Schneider's knees, after all.

I have to wonder how much it cost taxpayers for Mapp to "pahhty" over at Foxy's in Jost Van Dyke for New Year's Eve. Must have been a fact finding mission/business meeting so he could write it off on his credit card!

I'd bet good money he, his security detail & entourage didn't go over on a public ferry, either...& that those costs weren't paid by him personally. Hopefully, he & co. were guests on a private vessel*-)
