I am also coming for a pre-move visit, leaving tomorrow on the 29th for Christiansted. I'm bringing my twin daughters with me to check it out. My husband has already been re-located there. Are the private schools nice in Christiansted? Which ones should I try to enroll them in? They are in highschool.

Your two main choices for private high schools on St. Croix are Country Day School and Good Hope School. They both have good programs and similar tuition rates. Good Hope has a little more emphasis on participation in the arts.

Country Day is near the center of the island, so is possibly easier for you to access if you wind up living in the Christiansted area. Good Hope is on the southwest shore of the island, a few miles west of the airport, a few miles south of Frederiksted, and just east of Sandy Point.

Good Hope is built on 30 acres of waterfront land, which is quite a change in school environment for most children who relocate here.
