Anyone else having problems opening the restaurant ratings? I have not been able to get this thread to load for the last couple weeks and my guess is the problem I am having is because of the number of posts in this thread it has become over sized and perhaps Islander needs to archive some of the older posts.

I can open it and post to it. So I don't think it's the thread.

Works fine for me. The user's load is only as big as one page on a msg board no matter how many posts are in the thread.

OK.

Still can't open this particular thread. If no one else is having a problem I will have to look at finding a solution at my end.

Maybe try another browser? It's loading ok on my system with IE8.

When one of my folders gets very large, I divide it into logical bits.

Maybe the STX Restaurant Ratings thread has gotten so large as to be difficult to use.

I have not had one single problem opening this thread. It opens as quickly as a brand new thread with 1 or 2 posts. (tu)

I was going to comment but this message board keeps saying that I am sending spam. I was just going to say to Edward that the thread is broken up into logical bits in the form of pages and that I don't think there is any technical reason to keep threads below a certain size.
