Just curious if anyone has been experiencing probs with Cingular the past few days. Rather abruptly I stopped getting service anywhere on stt, and am about to throw this phone in the ocean.

I have cingular and my phone is working fine. But sometimes it refuses to work at all when other cingular does. Does your phone have a chip in it that you can take out and put back in? Sometimes that helps.

I went through something similar a few months ago. I assumed that the network was down because my phone seemed normal... but I couldn't make or receive calls for three or four days. I resisted the urge to run over it repeatedly with my car and took it in to the cingular office (on STX). They gave me a new phone (at no charge for some reason, maybe the look in my eyes!) and everything was fine.
