Hi Everyone.

Dan Harris is kayaking around St. Croix this Sunday to raise money for the Queen Louise home. He plans to leave Rainbow beach at 1 AM and hopes to return around 5 PM. He estimates the trip to be about 65 miles.

Open since 1904, Queen Louise Home provides temporary placement in a family setting for children ages birth to 12 who have been the victims of abuse and neglect. It is staffed by full-time child care workers and by AmeriCorps Volunteers who serve as Cottage Parents, living with the children as surrogate parents.

If you would like to donate, please follow to link and donate whatever you can. All of the donations are going to the Queen Louise home. Dan is donating his time and energy and drive.

Thanks to Islander for letting me post this!

We just saw him off from Rainbow beach. He will be going towards Sandy Point, then South Shore past Hovensa and around Point Udall and so on. Keep an eye out for him if you are on the shore today. And it is not too late to donate! Thank you!! 🙂
